Two additional accomplices have been formally charged in connection with the attempted armed robbery of Lakeshore Market in May that ended with with store owner pulling out his own pistol and firing three rounds at the two robbers who had entered his store.
Jordan Bowie, 18, was formally charged on Thursday, June 3, in Hennepin County District Court with aiding/abetting attempted aggravated robbery- first degree. This is considered a felony.
He was allegedly in possession of a firearm and acted as the lookout outside the market.
Shawn Sukhram, 19, was also formally charged on June 3 in Hennepin County District Court with aiding/abetting attempted aggravated robbery- first degree. He was allegedly present and drove the get-away car.
A third suspect, Omario Tavari Henry, 19, has already been charged with attempted aggravated robbery-first degree.This is also considered a felony.
Alvin Rudolph Bell, Jr., 19, has also been arrested.
The incident happened on the night of May 20 when two males entered
Lakeshore Market wearing bandandas over their faces. The store owner
told the two to remove the bandannas when he saw that one of the males
was carrying what appeared to be a pistol, according to criminal
complaints filed by the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department. When
the owner fired three rounds at the perpetrators, they fled the store,
according to the complaint.
Henry was discovered about 100 feet away from the market lying on the
ground. He told officers where his gun was, and the police recovered a
pellet pistol.
