The Minneapolis Institute of Arts show called the "Foot in the Door 4" happens only once every 10 years, in collaboration with Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program (MAEP).

It is an open exhibition for all Minnesota artists. Since 1980, “Foot in the Door” has celebrated the diversity and enthusiasm of Minnesota's visual arts community. The rules are simple; any Minnesota artist can get into the show as long as their art fits into a 12 x 12 x 12 inch cube.
